Anchor 4POINT0 Webinar: Agrifood 4.0 in the post COVID world

Canada is well along the way to exploring agriculture and food 4.0. The emergence of cheap automated digital sensors, big data analytics and AI has already generated significant investment. Effort is directed upstream on plant and animal breeding, on farm in terms of precision operations and downstream to develop new products and fulfillment systems. The Canadian agrifood industry is in the vanguard of this effort. Now COVID-19 has disrupted the food chain, highlighting the need for new ways of profitably and sustainably producing food in Canada. This panel will explore how industry and the policy system is responding.
